Tom Stoppard's Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead

In a witty modern riff on the characters and themes of Hamlet, courtiers Rosencrantz and Guildenstern take center stage. To their bafflement, Hamlet wanders through, toying with them. Claudius, Gertrude, Ophelia, Polonius likewise make their appearances, but none of this enlightens the duo. A troupe of traveling players comments on the action while hinting at a blackly comic fate.

Auditions (open to the public) at Founders Auditorium of Ohio State Mansfield on September 1 and 2.

Performances October 23, 24, 25, 26. The audience will be seated on the stage of Founders Auditorium, grouped around an intimate playing space.
